Mastermelt exhibits at CPHI Barcelona 2023

Held this year in Barcelona the location in itself was a treat! 

The Convention on Pharmaceutical Ingredients or CPhI as it’s more commonly known is the premier exhibition of manufactures of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API’s) and the vast supply chain involved with delivery of medicines to the market.

With 8 aircraft hanger size halls filled with over 1800 exhibitors the scale is huge!  This year the show welcomed over 50,000 visitors over the 3 days.

With the team on early flights to Barcelona we were greeted by our Spanish colleague, Lluis who is resident in Barcelona so knew his way around and took us straight to Fira Barcelona Gran Via to see how the stand built was going.

For the 2nd year in a row our friends at Minerva Exhibitions built our stand proudly displaying our new logo and graphics.

 

Mastermelt specialises in difficult to treat materials which includes homogeneous catalysts which are used increasingly in the synthesis of API’s by Pharmaceutical and Contract Manufacturing companies.

Mastermelt offers recovery of precious metals from homogeneous catalysts with 3 technologies available:

Metal Scavengers, Distillation and Advanced Thermal Treatment.  Exhibiting at CPhI allows us to reach the many professionals in the pharma industry whose priority is to optimise precious metal recovery to improve overall sustainability of their process.

With a 7 strong team of representatives at the show from our UK and German operations we were well positioned to for pre-arranged meetings as well as welcoming visitors to the stand.

Enjoying the warm autumn evenings in Barcelona was a pleasure and we sampled some of the best food courtesy of our local guide Lluis!

We ended the 3 days at CPhI having successfully met with a number of existing customers and potential new clients with lots of follow ups on the to-do list.

Next year CPhI is in Milan 8-10th October.
